One table, three ways to play

  • Against AI

Play on your own with the green mallet on the left; AI takes red on the right. Choose from three difficulty levels and practice at your own pace.

  • Two-Player

Share a phone, tablet or computer and control both sides at once. No room to create. Use one finger each on a touchscreen, or WASD and arrow keys on a computer.

  • Play Online

Use separate devices. Invite a friend to a private room or choose a room in the public lobby. Host plays left green; guest plays right red.

The public lobby lets you choose a room; it does not match players automatically. Private rooms are unlisted, but someone with the link or room code may still enter. Private does not mean a visitor's identity has been verified. A full room can be watched, but watching does not give control of a mallet.

The rules on this table

Each side defends one goal. Mallets stay in their own half; the puck can cross the center line. A puck in the right goal gives left one point, and a puck in the left goal gives right one point, regardless of who touched it last. Choose 5, 7 or 11 points. First to the target wins, with no two-point lead required.

Serves are automatic at the start and after goals. These are this game's rules, not a substitute for the rules used by a physical table, venue or tournament. The homepage explains scoring, serves, mallet control, bank shots and recovery.

Read the scoring rules

AI difficulty changes how the opponent reacts and moves; it is not a rating of your ability. The site has no account ranks, leaderboards or certified tournament results.

Copy a result, not a saved match

Scores, hits, time and goal logs for AI and Two-Player games belong to the current page. Copy the record before leaving to keep a result. Refreshing or starting a new game clears the match; a copied record cannot restore it, and there is no shot-by-shot replay.

Your light or dark theme is saved in this browser. Difficulty, target score, trail and sound settings apply to the current page, not a cross-device account. Adding the site to your Home Screen or Dock creates a shortcut; it does not guarantee offline play or add match saves.

Online play uses a server to relay and temporarily store the game. Your browser keeps room and seat credentials for room management and reconnection attempts. Returning to a seat depends on the room still being available and the credentials being retained. Old invites stop working when a room closes or expires.

Made and maintained by Ply Yard

This is one of Ply Yard's browser games. Our aim is to keep the controls, rules and explanations consistent with the table, so you can open the page and start playing.

If scoring differs from the explanation, controls behave unexpectedly, a room will not connect or a page is difficult to use, send us a report. Include the mode, steps, result and device details you know. You do not need to reproduce a problem repeatedly to write in, and should not attach full room credentials.

Ready to play

  1. Choose AI, Two-Player or Play Online, and check which mallet you control.
  2. Check the point target; first to reach it wins.
  3. Copy any result you need, and share invites only with the intended players.

Start with a few rallies against AI, or go straight to a match with a friend.
